Regular Math (Periods 1, 2 and 6)

Objective: I will determine whether a line shows direct variation

Classroom:  Chapter 5.6 (Direct Variation)
                    Chapter 5.6 Lesson Examples E1 and E2 in the TB on pages 200 and 201.
                    Chapter 5.6 On Your Own #'s 1-6 in the TB on pages 200 and 201.

Homework: Chapter 5.6 On Your Own #'s 1-6 in the TB on pages 200 and 201
                   (if not finished in class. Show your work in the spiral)

Notes: 7th Grade Field Trip to the DCPA is tomorrow, December 12th.
           Chapter 5 (Part 2) Unit Test is Friday, December 15th.
           Mid Year MAPS Testing will begin on Monday, December 18th.

Honors Math (Period 7)

Objective: I will use indirect measurement to find a missing side length of a triangle.

Classroom:  Chapter 3.4 (Using Similar Triangles).
                    Chapter 3.4 Lesson Activities 1-3 in the SJ on pages 63-65.
                    Chapter 3.4 Lesson Examples E1 and E2 in the TB on pages 128 and 129.
                    Chapter 3.4 On Your Own #'s 1-3 in the TB on pages 128 and 129.   
                    
Homework: Chapter 3.4 Exercise #'s 4-12e, 13-16 and 19-22 assigned in Clever.
