Regular Math (Periods 1, 2 and 6)

Objective: I will define the absolute value of a number.

Classroom: Activities (A) 1-3 and Inductive Reasoning (#'s 4-9) in the Student Journal (SJ) on pages 3-5.

Homework: Chapter 1, What You Learned Before (WYLB) assigned in Clever.
                    Chapter 1.1 Exercises 4-11 and 46-50 assigned in Clever.

Notes: Math MAPS testing will begin next Wednesday, August 23rd.
           Chapter 1 Quiz (1.1-1.3) will be on Tuesday, August 29th.

Honors Math (Period 7)

Objective: I will write and graph inequalities.

Classroom: Activities (A) 1 and 3 in the Student Journal (SJ) on pages 233-235.
                   Lesson Examples (E) 1-3 and On Your Own (OYO) #'s 1-9 in the Student Textbook (TB), pages 466 and 467.

Homework: Chapter 11.1 Exercises 1, 3, 4-18e, 21, 26, 28 and 29-32 assigned in Clever.

Notes: Math MAPS testing will begin next Wednesday, August 23rd.
